SUMMARY

This is a unique position in the print and mail industry! We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven, and experienced salesperson to join our team. We are looking for a big picture thinker with hands on technical experience. Knowledge of the print and mail industry is preferred, but not a requirement. We specialize in political and non-profit fundraising campaigns. We are looking for someone to expand our digital marketing platform so that we can add value to our direct mail customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and qualify opportunities aligned with Company strategy, growth objectives, and priorities; build and maintain active, quality pipeline
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Develops a plan for making regular contact with prospective client targets
• Contacts customer and prospect base on a continuous basis to promote our services
• Drive client-focused activities, including setting up and attending key client and stakeholder meetings throughout the life of the capture
• Lead disciplined pursuits through qualification, positioning, and proposal submittal phases; typically handling and advancing multiple efforts concurrently
• Coordinates with the team to identify and develop win strategies and identify critical activities and resources needed to increase win probability; includes competitive analysis, pricing strategy, solutioning
• Lead proposal development to ensure that a high-quality proposal is submitted to the prospective client
• Participate in business planning activities to include regular pipeline and gate reviews, as well as proposal reviews; diligently maintain CRM notes and reports/updates on opportunities
• Meets with prospective customers to answer questions and discuss a possible contract
• Brings in new business for the company for the best possible price
• Attends industry events, networking events and special meetings as required
• Comfortable with working in a virtual environment

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Prior sales role with at least 2 years focused on direct print media preferred
• Ability to create sound value propositions, and win strategies by synthesizing information and ensuring alignment with customer priorities
• Strong organizational, prioritization, multi-tasking, and planning skills to manage a wide range of efforts simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with outstanding interpersonal facilitation and negotiation skills
• A professional demeanor and positive attitude, even while working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work as part of an integrated team
• Self-motivated and a strong bias for action; willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary to meet team goals
• Maintains a strong professional social media presence (LinkedIn)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
